Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best
55. Running With The Devil (2019)
With a title like that, expectations are always going to be low, but Running with the Devil is a mildly pleasant surprise - a not-terrible, well-made thriller teaming Cage with a thoroughly game Laurence Fishburne for its duration.
Its script certainly has its issues, but Fishburne's outrageously off-the-wall performance, bangin' hookers and huffin' drugs as he goes, is well worth the price of admission.
Cage feels a little under-served here, strangely, and both him and Fishburne desperately needed more screen time, but it certainly delivers enough zaniness to satisfy.
54. G-Force (2009)
The fact that this family adventure film about a squad of super-spy guinea pigs managed to rope in the likes of Sam Rockwell, Tracy Morgan, Penélope Cruz, Jon Favreau, Steve Buscemi, and Nicolas Cage speaks to just how damn lucrative - and easy! - voiceover work is.
G-Force isn't a truly good movie in any way, but it is totally harmless and easy to watch. Cage, for his part, is amusingly cast as star-nosed mole Speckles, the "brains" of the group.
That alone is enough to generate a few giggles, and while clearly nothing more than a payday for all involved, it doesn't actively aggravate.
