Ranking Every Nicolas Cage Movie Worst To Best
51. Gone In Sixty Seconds (2000)
Gone In Sixty Seconds definitely isn't as fun or exciting as it should be, but it does mine some giddy entertainment value out of its nutty premise - Cage must steal 50 cars in one night to save his brother's life.
The car chases are disappointingly slack and it just lacks the propulsiveness which The Fast and the Furious would deliver in spades the very next year, but it's fine for some goofy kicks.
50. The Croods (2013)
A well-animated but almost totally forgettable offering from DreamWorks, The Croods benefits from the vocal efforts of Cage alongside Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke, and Cloris Leachman, but is a strictly for-the-kids affair.
If you've seen your fair share of family-skewing animations before, this one does nothing new beyond slap a prehistoric skin on it.
Cage and most of the original cast are set to reprise their roles for the upcoming sequel, which hopefully might make more of a dent with viewers.
