Ranking Every Quentin Tarantino Movie Soundtrack Worst To Best
2. Reservoir Dogs
The Tarantino soundtrack that started it all. This soundtrack not only introduced us to Tarantino, but also, changed the way we listen to soundtracks altogether. After its release, a film’s soundtrack became almost like a film itself - something for consumers to own and listen to again and again.
And, with Reservoir Dogs, we have a classic and archetypal Tarantino soundtrack - from the retro 70s songs, to the speeches and pieces of dialogue being placed as songs on the soundtrack.
Here, we have some songs that have become synonymous with Tarantino films, including The George Baker Selection’s “Little Green Bag” and Stealers Wheel’s “Stuck in the Middle with You” (used in that infamous torture scene). And, as always, he introduces us to some forgotten retro songs, including “I Gotcha”, “Magic Carpet Ride” and “Hooked on a Feeling” (that’s right, before Guardians of the Galaxy did it, Tarantino did it first).
The Reservoir Dogs soundtrack holds up as a status as one of the most iconic soundtracks of all time, and it definitely deserves it.
