Ranking Every Terminator Model By Deadliest

8. T-800

T-X Terminator
TriStar Pictures

The T-800 was the first widely successful model of infiltrator unit, thanks to its ability to mimic humans. Unlike its predecessors, the T-800 was covered with living tissue, which included human-like flesh, hair, blood, and other bodily fluids that made it appear completely human.

Additionally, the T-800's CPU was vastly superior to other models in that it could learn and adapt to its environment. Additionally, it was self-aware, though still dependent on its core programming. It was programmed with the skills acquired by veteran soldiers, including basic combat, sniper training, and much more.

The T-800 is incredibly efficient at hunting down specific targets, and it was the first model Skynet sent back in time to take out Sarah Connor before her son was conceived. The living tissue covering the Terminator's endoskeleton made it possible to travel through time. Once it arrived, it immediately went to work, killing numerous people along the way.

While the T-800 is an incredibly successful infiltrator, it does have some weaknesses. Its endoskeleton can be pierced via depleted uranium armor-piercing bullets. Plasma weaponry can also destroy a T-800, as can large explosions and concussive forces. Additionally, damaged flesh necrotized — a problem that was fixed in subsequent models.
