2. Justice League
Release Date: November 17th, 2017
Billed As:
The first coming together of the first six (maybe more) members of the Justice League, to thwart the world-threatening invasion of Darkseid's army (as fronted by Steppenwolf) who are determined to steal the 3 Mother Boxes protected on Earth.
Also, Superman returns, a Green Lantern might appear and it should set up a sequel. Lots there.
Positives?
Everyone wants to see more Ben Affleck as Batman, more Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and the real debuts of Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg will be massively exciting too. Also, it's a Justice League film - comic book fans have been waiting for this since the genre started to work on the big screen.
Concerns?
No matter what you choose to believe about the reshoots, having a new director come in so late and so extensive a reshooting schedule is inevitably going to be somewhat concerning (particularly after those rumours of the "unwatchable" early cut).
Also, Batman v Superman was far from universally adored, and if Snyder and Whedon haven't cumulatively addressed some of those issues, it could fall down the same pits.
