7. Jackpot
A character most Marvel fans are unlikely to have heard of but one Sony are looking to bring to the big screen all the same, Jackpot (or at least the Sara Ehret version), was first introduced in 2007 by writer Dan Slott and artist Phil Jimenez. The identity of the character was then passed to Alana Jobson, who used mutant growth hormone to grant herself superpowers.
So far, not much is known about the Jackpot movie. It could revolve around one or both versions of the character, but given how both their origins contain Marvel's trademark "science gone wrong" motif, it's easy to see how both could work within the confines of Sony's Spider-Man-less universe.
Ultimately, however, Jackpot just doesn't sound like that much of an exciting character, and while there's obvious potential to be had in seeing the character's journey play out (Sara especially, given her ties to Oscorp), there's nothing currently that screams she needs a film of her own.
