RottenTomatoes Score: 24% (4.5/10) Box Office: Made for $50 million (almost double the original's $28 million), Zoolander 2 grossed below expectations in its opening weekend and never recovered, only barely about to make its budget back. It'll fare better on home video and VOD, but there's no way to call it a success. Verdict: Zoolander 2 may provide some fitful laughs and a welcome dose of nostalgia, but critics largely agree that it just doesn't bring enough to the table to truly justify a second go-around. Yes, the ridiculous conveyor belt of cameos is entertaining and it has its moments overall, but it lacks the iconic appeal of the original, and arguably has too many call-backs to jokes from the first film. At least the movie's failure has thrown all talks of a third film completely out of the window.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
