Box Office: The $129 million animated threequel enjoyed the strongest opening weekend of the series, and has already doubled its budget despite only releasing in China this weekend.

Regardless of whether or not it tops the previous film's $621.5 million when it's all said and done, it's an easy hit and probably not the last we'll ever see of the franchise (despite what the filmmakers say).

Verdict: Though probably the weakest of the three movies, The Hidden World rounds off the HTTYD trilogy in largely satisfying fashion, thanks to incredible animation throughout, likeable characters and an ending which neatly wraps up the trilogy nicely.

It's not terribly adventurous plot-wise and you'll get no points for guessing where it's all going, but as far as threequels go, this is totally rock solid.
