RottenTomatoes Score: 13% (3.4 out of 10) Box Office: Thanks to its $4 million budget, there was very little way this movie wouldn't be a minor success, having grossed $18.3 million to date. Anyone who saw the trailer for this Rob Cohen-directed (The Fast and the Furious, xXx, Stealth) farce knew it was going to be one of the "so bad it's good" unintentional comedy classics of the year, and it certainly didn't disappoint. With the film's clunky dialogue and a general style evoking the Lifetime network, J-Lo can do nothing but simply try and steer the mostly self-serious mess into the realm of wink-nudge humour, and she just about manages it now and then. While hardly as bland and boring as, say, Mortdecai, its perversely terrible quality can only provide so much entertainment value at the end of the day.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
