16. Strange Magic
RottenTomatoes Score: 16% (3.8 out of 10) Box Office: It's grossed just $6.2 million so far, posting the lowest sales of any animated film released in more than 3000 cinemas. A certified box office dud. It's incredibly difficult to make an animated movie that bombs, because kids are easily drawn in, and their attendance guarantees at least one or two other people from the family going as well. Despite having a story written by George Lucas (surely a big selling point... or not?) and boasting solid visuals, the lack of a name cast and a forgettable fantasy premise appeared to doom this one from the outset. Plus, the fact that it's a musical was always going to prove divisive.
