RottenTomatoes Score: 30% (4.3/10) Box Office: Budget information is unavailable, and though the movie grossed a solid $2 million in Italy late last year, it's unlikely that the limited theatrical and VOD release in the US brought it much success. Verdict: Richard Gere and Dakota Fanning should be commended for their solid work here (especially Gere, who plays hugely against his usual dashing type), but the story, of an aging man (Gere) who meddles in the relationship of two young people (Fanning and Theo James) isn't nearly as profound or affecting as it thinks it is. It's certainly watchable and has its moments, but with Gere clearly trying so hard to do something different, it's a shame the script wasn't more subtle and nuanced, rather than being fairly hammy and manipulative.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
