Ranking January 2016's Movies From Worst To Best

1. Lamb

RottenTomatoes Score: 83% (6.8/10) Box Office: This adaptation of Bonnie Nadzam's novel has generated $14,547 from 43 cinemas. It's super-low budget, but even so, not going anywhere. Verdict: Ross Partridge pulls admirable triple-duty here as writer, director and star opposite fantastic rising star Oona Laurence for an impressive if undeniably unsettling drama about the complicated relationship between a man and a young girl. It's sure to turn off as many as it intrigues, but asks some truly provocative questions of the audience and should be commended for that. With terrific cinematography and knowing performances, Lamb is the undisputed winner of January...if you're prepared to go to some dark places. What did you think of January's movies? What did you love? What did you hate? Shout it out in the comments!
