Ranking January 2017's Movies From Worst To Best
3. Jackie
RottenTomatoes Score: 89% (8.0/10)
Box Office: The modest $9 million Oscar-nominated drama has made a solid $14.2 million from the specialty box office.
Verdict: Pablo Larrain directs the hell out of this psychological horror spin on the most torturous week in Jackie Kennedy's life, following the death of her husband, President John F. Kennedy.
Natalie Portman gives a performance for the ages as the bereaved First Lady, with Larrain's camera closing in tight to capture every morsel of anguish.
At the same time, though, it's a tasteful rendition of the fateful event, and as a fun addition, the guy who plays JFK is an almost frighteningly good likeness.
