Ranking January 2019's Movies From Worst To Best

2. Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened

Fyre Ja Rule
Netflix

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 92% (7.7/10)

Box Office: Direct-to-Netflix.

Verdict: If you haven't heard of the Fyre Festival, do yourself a favour and just watch this Netflix documentary about the disastrous, doomed 2017 music festival organised by rapper Ja Rule.

A riveting documentary with a steady avalanche of shocking facts, Fyre concisely details the circumstances which caused the festival to fail so shockingly, talking to many of the principal figures juxtaposed against intimate footage of the festival's organisation.

What begins as a tale of an ambitious business venture gone awry eventually becomes a far darker and more infuriating depiction of what the American Dream means in the social media age. An absolute must-watch.
