Ranking Jean-Claude Van Damme's Boss Fights

8. Street Fighter

Van Damme's Role: Colonel William Guile, must lead his army (along with a ragtag crew of martial artists, because...of course) to defeat the tyrannical M. Bison before he takes over the world.

The Bad Guy: It's Gomez Adams in a bright red leather suit (probably borrowed from Eddie Murphy's closet), shooting lightning from his hands and using levitating boots, eyes bulging menacingly. He's 100 percent ham. And he is the one redeeming part of the Street Fighter movie.

The Fight in a Nutshell: Sure, on paper, Raul Julia in a martial arts fight seems a bit "unorthodox," but keep in mind this is a movie based on a video game from the '90s. The fight itself is as cheesy as one would expect, with Bison's aforementioned "special powers" crowding in on some pretty uninspired choreography. And the fact Van Damme clearly had a stand-in for those flip kicks takes away most of the chutzpah it had.
