Ranking July 2016's Movies - From Worst To Best

4. The Infiltrator

Ghostbusters Jason Bourne Ice Age
Broad Green Pictures

RottenTomatoes Score: 68% (6.5/10)

Box Office: Incredulously budgeted at a ridiculous $47.5 million, the Bryan Cranston-led thriller unsurprisingly crashed and burned at the box office, and hasn't even recouped half of its budget to date. It's a huge bomb.

Verdict: Forget about the financials and, on its own terms, The Infiltrator is a familiar yet thoroughly entertaining film that, as expected, wrings terrific work out of not only Cranston but also John Leguizamo and Diane Kruger.

It nails the sense of time and place, boasts an interesting structure, and is strongly compelling enough that it's easy to forget about how many times you've seen similar stories play out.
