Ranking July 2016's Movies - From Worst To Best

12. Jason Bourne

RottenTomatoes Score: 56% (5.8/10)

Box Office: Proving the reliability of Matt Damon as a box office draw, Jason Bourne pulled in $60 million in the U.S. in its opening weekend, and has already made its budget back worldwide. Even if it doesn't end up pulling in as much as The Bourne Ultimatum's $442.8 million final cume, it'll still be a smash hit and convincing argument for yet more Bourne adventures.

Verdict: Yes, Jason Bourne is a disappointment when compared to the water-tight prior three movies, but on its own terms it still delivers blistering action and at least three highly entertaining performances (Damon, Jones and Cassel).

Fans naturally expected more and this really feels oddly formulaic, yet it still serves up light entertainment even if it should be the end (but probably won't be).
