Ranking July 2017's Movies From Worst To Best
12. To The Bone
RottenTomatoes Score: 73% (6.5/10)
Box Office: No financials are available, but the anorexia drama went straight-to-Netflix, so you can rest assured their generous coffers made it profitable.
Verdict: Lily Collins gives a phenomenal performance as a young woman struggling with anorexia in this incredibly honest if occasionally overly sentimental drama based on the real-life experiences of writer-director Marti Noxon.
The rather TV-esque directing style doesn't exactly make it stand out from similar indie dramas coming out of Sundance, but Collins' compassionate work and an intriguing supporting performance from Keanu Reeves as her no-bulls*** doctor make this well worth your time.
