Ranking July 2018's Movies From Worst To Best
14. The Legacy Of A Whitetail Deer Hunter
RottenTomatoes Score: 31% (5.2/10)
Box Office: Straight-to-Netflix.
Verdict: The latest dramedy from Jody Hill (The Foot Fist Way, Observe and Report) is one of the most forgettable movies you're likely to see all year.
Despite solid work from Danny McBride, Josh Brolin and young star Montana Jordan, this is a weirdly generic, tonally inconsistent male bonding movie that doesn't really have much funny or interesting to say.
It's watchable enough, but sure to exit the mind as soon as all of its 83 minutes are expended. Given the talent involved, this should've tried much harder.
