Ranking: Liam Neeson's Action Movies From Worst To Best

8. Non-Stop

Collet-Serra's second effort with Neeson is a slight improvement if running along similar lines. This time the actor plays alcoholic U.S. Air Marshall Bill Marks, who on a flight receives text messages indicating that a passenger will die every 20 minutes unless $150 million is transferred to a bank account. The beauty of the concept, of course, is that anyone on the plane could be the bad guy (or guys...or girls), and the movie even flirts with the possibility that Marks could be in on it himself. Like Unknown, it's thoroughly ridiculous and completely embraces this fact, hurling so many convoluted ideas into the mix that the viewer will likely have no idea who the perpetrator is until they're revealed in the absolutely barmy third act. Though action is limited due to the constraints of a plane (you can only fire so many bullets on one, for starters), Neeson again reinforces his stature as a charismatic bada**, in one of the more amusing gimmick thrillers of the last 18 months.
