Ranking March 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

8. Beauty & The Beast

Beauty And The Beast Beast Belle
Disney

RottenTomatoes Score: 71% (6.6/10)

Box Office: On a mammoth $160 million budget, the live-action Disney adaptation has scooped almost $900 million at the time of press. Never bet against Disney, especially not one of their most beloved tales. It'll become the first 2017 release to crack a cool billion before you know it.

Verdict: If you can forgive Emma Watson's atrociously auto-tuned singing and an over-indulgent run-time (which most apparently can), Beauty and the Beast is a stunning attempt to translate the Best Picture-nominated animation to a new medium.

Luke Evans as Gaston in particular steals the show almost every time he's on screen, and though imperfect, it's a mostly charming assault on the heart and the senses.
