Ranking May 2015's Movies From Worst To Best

10. San Andreas

RottenTomatoes Score: 50% (5.1/10) Box Office: The $100 million blockbuster is tracking to gross roughly $40 million in its first weekend, almost certainly taking the number one spot and ensuring it's a financial success within a few weeks once international grosses are also taken into account. The real question is whether it has the legs to be a Roland Emmerich-level success or not. The Verdict: As detailed earlier this week, Dwayne Johnson's new disaster movie is something of a mixed bag. The destruction porn on display is really quite something to behold, but viewers have to also be prepared to endure horrible characters and plenty of unintentionally hilarious dialogue. Johnson doesn't really get enough to do and anything outside of the carnage is pretty lame, but it certainly delivers on its promises of mayhem, and at the end of the day that's what really matters.
