Ranking May 2017's Movies From Worst To Best
4. Mindhorn
RottenTomatoes Score: 90% (6.8/10)
Box Office: The low-budget British comedy has pulled in almost $750,000 from the UK, which isn't bad at all considering its limited release. Plus, it's already available on Netflix around the world, so its production costs are more than covered.
Verdict: Basically a British version of cult classic action comedy MacGruber, Mindhorn is a demented, ridiculous farce parody that's held together by Julian Barratt's terrific central performance, and some killer one-liners that prove a great script will always take precedent over piles of cash.
Thankfully, Mindhorn's low budget charm totally works in its favour, too.
