Ranking: Nicolas Cage's Insane Hairstyles From Worst To Best
17. Disco Cage (Deadfall)
Trust family to convince someone to do something silly, and that's exactly what happened when Cage agreed to appear in this 1993 crime drama written and directed by his brother Christopher Coppola.
The only reason anyone remembers Deadfall is for Cage's madcap performance as a "fixer" with severe anger management issues. As if his distinctly 1980s disco wig wasn't hilariously bonkers enough, he also wore a prosthetic nose for the role, because...reasons.
Back to the hair, though: it succeeds insofar as making Cage look every bit the sketchy character he is, and the mustache is a nice touch, but the wig sticks out like a sore thumb, and there's a reason why he hasn't gone back to this look since.
