RottenTomatoes Score: 41% (5.3/10)

Box Office: Justice League opened to "only" $93.8 million in North America, down 45% from Batman v Superman's $166 million opening, making it the first DCEU movie to open under $100 million.

Though the film is about to crack the $500 million mark at the time of press, its colossal $300 million budget due to extensive reshoots means that Warner Bros. was clearly banking on a billion-dollar smash here.

The final worldwide total will likely fall somewhere between $700-800 million, which for DC's answer to The Avengers, is mightily disappointing.

Blame Batman v Superman, blame the film's much-discussed production problems, or blame the fact the Rotten Tomatoes score was obscured until the day before release, but whatever the cause, audiences just haven't embraced this film.

Verdict: To the surprise of nobody, the DCEU's much-hyped team-up movie is a bland mess, attempting to appeal to the lowest-common denominator, casual viewer, while bringing little clever or inventive to the table.

The performances are generally pretty solid, but the visuals are sloppy, the villain sucks, and at just two hours in length it feels ridiculously rushed. Not as infuriating as Batman v Superman perhaps, but at least BvS had a real vision and personality.
