Ranking November 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

13. Murder On The Orient Express

Murder On The Orient Express Kenneth Branagh
Fox

RottenTomatoes Score: 58% (6.1/10)

Box Office: Against a $55 million budget, Kenneth Branagh's Agatha Christie adaptation has grossed over $200 million, ensuring that the proposed follow up, Death on the Nile, will be on the way soon enough.

Verdict: Though decidedly rough around the edges, there's an agreeably old-school appeal to Branagh's murder mystery, which perhaps doesn't always make the best use of its cast, but nevertheless serves up an amusingly po-faced romp driven by Branagh's daft performance as detective Hercule Poirot.

Most important of all is that the movie lays a solid foundation for future adventures, with Branagh being the focal point while another all-star cast can be ushered in.
