12. Ingrid Goes West

Box Office: No budgetary data is available, but the Aubrey Plaza-starring social media satire has made $3 million worldwide, though has most certainly made much more from its U.S. VOD release.

Verdict: A riotously entertaining mockery of the modern age of narcissism, Ingrid Goes West teases career-best work out of Aubrey Plaza as a social media stalker, yet the film walks a fine line between joking about its titular character and not making light of mental illness.

The gag-rate is terrific, the cast delivers, and it's absolutely destined for cult classic status in the years to come. In an age where Instagram dominates the lives of so many, this couldn't come at a better time.
