Ranking October 2015's Movies From Worst To Best

17. Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 31% (4.5/10) Box Office: Made for $15 million, Scouts also fell short of projections, collecting just $1.8 million in its first weekend, attributed largely to the film's R-rated tone conflicting with its most obvious target audience being teenagers who couldn't legally see the movie. The Verdict: Though far from a disaster, this comedy-horror flick squanders its terrific premise with a surprisingly by-the-numbers treatment that's just not funny or gory enough to be truly satisfying. It's intermittently enjoyable, agreeably brief and never boring, but at the same time, the filmmakers needed to try much harder to make this set-up realise its potential. Yes, you won't forget the d*** joke for weeks, but unfortunately major marquee moments like this are pretty few and far between.
