Ranking October 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

5. Thor: Ragnarok

RottenTomatoes Score: 95% (7.6/10)

Box Office: Ahead of its U.S. release, Marvel's latest blockbuster has already cooked up $109.1 million from its international opening, and is projected to open to $125 million in the States. It's clearly going to make its $180 million budget back several times over, no question.

If something as bland as The Dark World can make $644.6 million, $800 million probably isn't out of the question here (depending on how well Justice League reviews, anyway).

Verdict: Another highly entertaining entry into the MCU albeit one that's still rife with most of the series' core issues, Thor: Ragnarok is by far the best of the three Thor movies to date, and a visually dazzling, uproariously funny blast.

Delightfully weird and finally making the most of Chris Hemsworth's knack for comedy, Ragnarok proves that talented auteurs such as Taika Waititi can still flourish in heavily micro-managed cinematic universes.
