RottenTomatoes Score: 93% (7.5/10)

Box Office: Going straight-to-VOD in the U.S., the Vince Vaughn-starring prison thriller has made just $7,144 from a small U.K. theatrical run. It clearly didn't cost much to make, and at least strong word-of-mouth has probably propelled it to decent VOD sales.

Verdict: Vince Vaughn gives easily the best performance of his career in this slow-burn prison thriller from Bone Tomahawk director S. Craig Zahler.

Though it arguably runs a little too long, Vaughn is never less than compelling, displaying an unexpected physicality that shows what he's truly capable of away from lame studio comedies.

Zahler typically doles out some stomach-churningly brutal violence in the final stretch, cementing this as a shameless genre piece executed with daring panache.
