Box Office: No budgetary information is available for Armando Iannucci's latest political satire, but it's already made more than $1.3 million in the U.K., which isn't bad at all.

Verdict: While lacking the topical relevance of, say, Iannucci's In the Loop, this is nevertheless a riotously entertaining period comedy that makes the inspired, hilarious decision to have all the actors speaking in their natural accents...despite primarily playing famous Russians.

The film is more than that mere gimmick, though, progressively heightening the absurdity to gut-busting levels, and while playing broader than his sharpest satires, is nevertheless one of the year's funniest films to date.
