Ranking October 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

15. The Lego Ninjago Movie

Box Office: It seems like everyone except Warner Bros. realised that spending $70 million on a Lego Ninjago film wasn't a great idea, and unsurprisingly, the movie opened to less than half of initial projections, and less than half of the openings of either previous Lego movie.

To date it's made $114.5 million, so it's hardly a clear-cut bomb, especially as it'll probably do OK business on home video, but the start of a new franchise this is not.

Verdict: A perfectly serviceable animated movie that nevertheless feels like a far cry from its two predecessors, The Lego Ninjago Movie won't stick in the memory long, but the performances are solid, especially Jackie Chan, and it's an entertaining enough diversion for 90-ish minutes.
