Ranking The Rock's Films From Worst To Best

10. The Mummy Franchise (2001-2)

The film that really got the ball rolling for The Rock was The Mummy Returns, with him appearing briefly at the start as The Scorpion King, and then again later on in horrible CGI form (pictured above). Thankfully, this led to a vastly superior (though still not great) spin-off named after his character, which saw Rocky be paid a record $5.5 million for his first starring role, and though not a mammoth success on the scale of the Mummy films, it still did solid business and cemented his stature as a box office draw from the outset. As we all know, though, this was just the beginning, as Rocky's attention was still divided between wrestling and movies, yet dollar signs were evidently starting to flutter in front of his eyes.
