RottenTomatoes Score: 76% (6.6/10)

Box Office: The low-budget horror has grossed roughly $1.6 million, almost all of it from the UK, though it's hardly going to be enough to put it in the black.

Verdict: Though on the surface this looked like just about any other period horror-thriller, thanks to committed performances from Bill Nighy and the on-the-rise Olivia Cooke, as well as a sharp script from Jane Goldman, this is an uncommonly satisfying little romp.

Yes, the big reveal is immensely predictable, but that doesn't stop this being a well-made low-budget thriller for the most part, one that earned its limited theatrical release even if you're probably still wondering how it got one at all.
