Ranking September 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

Box Office: The remake of the classic 1990 cult thriller is expected to pull in around half of its $19 million budget in its opening weekend.

Verdict: A pointless rehash nobody asked for, the new Flatliners dispassionately retreads over the original film's major beats, while bringing little new to the table.

The performances are fine, mercifully, but the film too often diverges into unintentional hilarity, and it's really only worth watching for Kiefer Sutherland's hysterically bizarre cameo.

It might not quite be worst of the year material as that 0% score would suggest, but it's still very, very bad.
