9. Tommy
Who: Turkish's business partner and usually the subject of Turkish's ire. Named after a 19th-century ballet dancer, NOT a gun.
What he knows about diamonds: If it's diamond expertise you're after, Tommy's probably not the man to go to. In fact, he's generally not the guy you want in almost any situation.
Turkish's sidekick envisions himself as a real up and comer in the London boxing management scene, and even procures a gun from Boris the Blade to provide a little added steel. Unfortunately, Tommy is frequently taken advantage of and belittled by almost everyone he encounters. Even the gun turns out to be a knockoff.
His expertise is limited to caravans - but that's only because he knows more about them than Turkish. And that's only because he spent a weekend in one. Tommy's the man in charge of buying a portable home from Mickey O'Neil when the film opens, and its those dodgy wheels which end up entangling them all in the deep dark world of diamonds, deceit, and dags.
Best quote: It's Tommy that first has to deal with Mickey's nigh-on indecipherable accent, as the latter wants to know whether Tommy likes "dags"... which turns out to mean "dogs." "Sure, I like 'dags'. I like caravans more."
