Ranking The Best Movie In Every Major Comic Book Franchise

Zack Snyder's heavily-stylized comic-book adaptation spawned a slew of pale imitators and parodies over the next few years, and while it may not have received widespread critical acclaim, audiences were a lot more on board with the concept than reviewers were.
Part of the movie's charm is that it takes itself far too seriously for such a ridiculous history-twisting epic, and the straight-faced approach to the material only increases the cheese factor. Stylish, violent, action-packed and endlessly quotable, you can fully understand why it appealed so much to the demographic it was clearly marketed towards.
A sequel followed almost a decade later, and thought that simply adopting the same style would result in similar success. Sadly, Rise of an Empire paled in comparison with the obvious exception of Eva Green's demented performance.
