Ranking The MCU Captain America Suits From Worst To Best

The appeal of Steve Rogers’ style in Avengers: Infinity War hinges on the story behind the suit rather than just the aesthetic. Fortunately, one can see the full story of the man wearing it just by a look. It is clear it is the same uniform he wore in Captain America: Civil War, but every iconography related to the Cap title is stripped off: the shield, the helmet, and so on. The star emblem on the chest is removed, and what is left is a black, empty star-shaped void.

This outfit is aged up, it is barely blue. It is so dirty, even the white section is a grey stain.

Even without knowing what happened in the previous movie, we can safely deduce that Steve Rogers has resigned from the title of Captain America and has been on the run ever since. He still has not abandoned the good fight, so he still wears the outfit for battle purposes. What completes it, is the popular new Rogers beard. It is the centerpiece of the whole thing, the black hole of attention that draws in everyone in its vicinity.

Steve in this era is technically not officially wielding the shield, but since Steve Rogers is still considered the living embodiment of all that is good in America by millions of fans, this suit counts on the list.

Now, somebody get this man a shield.
