Ranking The MCU Captain America Suits From Worst To Best
8. S.T.R.I.K.E. Stealth Uniform
This attire is a translation of the comic uniform Steve Rogers wore when he was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., retrofitted as a stealth suit. Since it has a specific function for black ops missions instead of public heroics, the muted colors become an important element. With most of the colors stripped down, it has a nice minimalistic feel that is impossible to pull off with the other threads. The shield looks less vibrant, but that should be excused because it has a utility purpose.
This is essentially the first good-looking Captain America outfit in modern times and a glimpse of what is yet to come. The helmet is no longer the cheap-looking one seen in The Avengers, now back to the hard bronze, complete with straps. The body is again utilitarian, with the armored layers also doubling as muscle definition.
There's something appealing about seeing this patriot in a completely different type of mission, dressed in a style unlike any other but working just as well. It is easy to see why fans have a special place for this costume in their hearts.
