8. Julia Roberts - Satisfaction (1988)
Satisfaction is a bubblegum pop romp with very little going for it other than the sheer nostalgia from its 1980s viewers and an insight into the career progression of both Julia Roberts and Liam Neeson.
The film follows a young *almost all* girl band at a summer resort as they navigate the classic teen rom-com problems of love, sex and friendship, ultimately the Satisfaction is just below average, being its generation's Josie and the Pussycats or Pitch Perfect. Satisfaction's release was rather close to the end of Jem and the Holograms TV run, clearly trying to capture any of the show's girl band craze momentum.
Although the film has Julia Robert’s award-winning smile and charisma as well as the moves of Justine Bateman as the band’s front woman, it lacks anything special or real.
