Razzies 2017: 8 Winners That Make No Sense

8. Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off Or Sequel - Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Batman V Superman
Warner Bros.

Why It Makes No Sense: Of the six nominated movies (also including Alice Through the Looking Glass, Fifty Shades of Black, Independence Day: Resurgence, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows and Zoolander 2), Batman v Superman in fact had the highest average score from Rotten Tomatoes critics.

This is lent even more weight by the fact that BvS received far more reviews than any of the other five movies in competition, which bolsters its credibility in this regard.

What Should've "Won": Fifty Shades of Black is by far the worst movie here, an unfunny send-up of an already terrible movie that was just fortunate enough not to bring a ton of fanboy baggage with it, unlike Batman v Superman.
