Razzies 2020: 10 Nominees That Make No Sense

6. Jessica Chastain (Dark Phoenix) - Worst Supporting Actress

Dark Phoenix was by no means a good movie, but the acting was for the most part pretty acceptable: even Sophie Turner gave a not-terrible performance despite her wretched previous turn in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Nominating Jessica Chastain for the Worst Supporting Actress award for her totally forgettable non-event of a performance as the villainous alien shapeshifter Vuk - don't worry, we couldn't remember her name either - is just a lazy low-blow.

Chastain's work is too innocuous and bland to be the worst of anything, especially with more compellingly roughshod possibilities such as Sasha Lane (Hellboy) and Rebecca Ferguson (Men in Black: International).
