2. The Lightning-Fast Pacing

It sure is refreshing to watch an ultra-expensive movie that clocks in at less than two hours, isn't it? Looking at you, Eternals.

Obviously no good movie is too long and no bad movie too short, but with Red Notice's entirely reasonable 118-minute runtime, it skids to a halt long before it can begin to outstay its welcome.

And really the pacing is one of the film's biggest strengths: it zips so energetically from one set-piece and comedy setup to the next that there's little room for viewers to get bored or start checking their watch.

Despite the sometimes-rough action editing, the film overall has clearly been whittled down to its most efficient form, as will likely make its generic action stylings go down more agreeably with general audiences.
