9. Kirby Is Confirmed To Be Alive
One of the most significant revelations in the entire movie is concrete confirmation that Scream 4's breakout fan favourite character Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere) indeed survived her stab wound.
While Richie is watching the Dead Meat video about Stab 8, on the right-hand side is a recommendation for a video entitled "Interview with Woodsboro survivor Kirby Reed," complete with a picture of a healthy and recovered-looking Kirby.
Given that fans have been speculating on Kirby's fate for literally over a decade, it's neat to finally have canon confirmation that she survived.
However, due to Hayden Panettiere being more-or-less retired from acting these days, she wasn't part of the new movie and probably won't appear in any potential future sequels.
Still, just knowing that she's out there and living life is a huge comfort for fans.
