7. Sid Doesn't Arrive In Woodsboro Until The Third Act
Easily the biggest disappointment of the movie is how small Sid's role ultimately ends up being. She doesn't show up in Woodsboro until 70 minutes into the movie, literally at the start of the third act after learning of Dewey's death.
Given that Sid appears in just a single scene before this - her phone call with Dewey - and spends a decent chunk of the third act off-screen while we deal with all the movie's other characters, it's a pretty underwhelming showing for the series' outright protagonist.
Sure, Sid proves herself to be a colossal badass when she and Gale take on the killers at the end, but in true requel fashion it really feels like the movie had to strain itself to find room for her.
