9. Kirby & Mindy Compare Horror Credentials
Though Kirby's presence in the film is ultimately a tad underwhelming and Hayden Panettiere's performance feels a little off throughout, fans do at least get to see a brief-yet-memorable interaction between Kirby and her fellow horror movie nerd queen, Mindy.
At the shrine, the pair briefly discuss the fan theory that Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard) is still alive, before comparing their horror fandom credentials.
They both agree that the best A Nightmare on Elm Street is the original, wildly disagree on which Friday the 13th is the best, call Psycho II underrated, and in the most baffling part of the entire conversation, put the original and requel versions of Candyman on equal footing.
After this back-and-forth, Mindy is satisfied that Kirby is a "true" horror fan, and amusingly quips, "Game recognise game."
