It's just a matter of time before the killers are taken out, though. The apparently first one to die is Ethan, who gets stabbed in the mouth by Tara, before Sam shoots Quinn in the head.

Sam then dons the Ghostface outfit and voice changer to take down Bailey, stabbing him literally dozens of times before finishing him off with a knife right in the eye.

But just when it seems to be over, of course somebody has to come back for one last scare.

And so, an inexplicably still-alive Ethan returns to attack Sam and Tara, only to be killed when a TV - the very TV that killed Stu in the original film, in fact - is dropped on his head by Kirby, who then knowingly says, "I saw that in a scary movie once."
