See The Trailer For Dr. Seuss' The Babadook
You find magic wherever you look.
Fans the world over have gone to great lengths of playing around with well known films and the latest viral wonder has done a brilliant job with The Babadook and The Cat In The Hat of all combinations. Slicing and dicing together two films that couldn't be further apart has worked wonders, letting a dark cloud linger over the adaptation of Dr. Seuss' beloved tale. Whilst The Cat In The Hat might be a well known tale, The Babadook was a horror from Jennifer Kent that got no where a much attention as it should have last year. A tale of monsters and mourning, the film sees a single mother struggle to deal with her reclusive son and his vivid imagination, particularly when it comes to a nasty house invading character from a children's that goes by the name of The Babadook. Soon her sons simple incidents of acting up quickly become something more, leading her to suspect that The Babadook might not be so imaginary after all.
