6. Shang-Chi Was A 14-Year-Old Assassin
Earlier in the movie Shang-Chi explains to Katy that his father tracked down the man responsible for his mother's death and tasked a 14-year-old Shang-Chi with carrying out the hit.
Shang-Chi initially told Katy that he couldn't go through with it, but at the start of the third act he finally explains that he did indeed do as his father instructed, killing the man. He then moved to the U.S. and changed his name in the hope of erasing his former life.
As guilty as he feels, Katy handily reminds him that it's extremely "messed up" to train a child to become a murderer from the age of seven, and then send them out on their first "job" at 14.
