Shang-Chi: 21 WTF Moments

5. Death Dealer's Surprisingly Small Role

By far one of the movie's big disappointments is the shockingly scant role given to Death Dealer (Andy Le), the Kabuki mask-wearing assassin working for Wenwu.

Given that Death Dealer is a character from the Shang-Chi comics, and has a freaking awesome design here, he seemed primed to be a major secondary antagonist.

But alas, beyond one notable fight with Shang-Chi in the first half of the film, he really feels like a bit of an afterthought.

And so, many fans were surely frustrated to see him killed off so effortlessly in the third act, when one of the Dweller-in-Darkness' minions devours his soul like it's no big deal.
